Daniel Payaw
Daniel Payaw is a registered tax attorney, number 239/PP/IKH/2018. Mr. Daniel graduated from the State College of Accountancy (STAN) majoring in tax and obtained his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Lampung.
Mr. Daniel has worked for 18.5 years in the Taxation Directorate General as a tax auditor and objection reviewer.
One of his achievements during his work at Directorate General of Taxes is awarded as The Best Objection Reviewer of Regional Tax Office of West Java II in 2012.
Mr. Daniel was also appointed as one of the member of Transfer Pricing Reviewer Case at the special Jakarta Regional Tax Office.
After resigning from Taxation Directorate General, Mr. Daniel joined PT Unilever Indonesia, Tbk as Senior Tax Assistant Manager and in 2015 he joined other tax consultants before establishing TaxPartner.
His achievements during his service as a civil servant gave him the opportunity to join the short courses on the Objections and Appeal Administration in Japan, organized by the National Tax Agency (NTA) of Japan, The National Tax Tribunal (NTT) Japan and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Tokyo and Sapporo, in 2009. As well as being selected to join the Advanced Transfer Pricing Course which organized by the OECD (Organization on Economic Cooperation and Development) in Ankara, Turkey in April 2012.
He has an extensive experience in tax disputes during his tenure at the Taxation Directorate General, especially for the last 8 (eight) years, in the directorate of objections and appeals, and handling various disputes and tax settlements, transfer pricing, international taxes including assisting the process of Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAP) as well as Advance Pricing Agreements (APA) for several clients. His experience as a tax consultant has given him expertise as a specialist concentrating on transfer pricing fulfillment, transfer price dispute resolution, international taxes, tax audits and tax claims.
